Objectives

We want to implement this project because we recognize the growing need for financial education, saving, and investing among young people, which are not adequately addressed by traditional education systems. Youth, especially those with fewer opportunities, often lack the necessary knowledge about long-term financial planning, which can negatively impact their future stability and development. Our project aims to fill this gap by providing practical skills in financial management, investing in traditional assets, as well as new technologies like cryptocurrencies. We aim to teach young people how to effectively manage their finances, budget, and save. The goal is for participants to understand the importance of developing saving habits and conscious financial planning, which are the foundation for long-term stability. Our key objective is to introduce min. 30 young people to the world of investments, with a special focus on investing in stocks, bonds, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. Youth will learn how financial markets work, what the mechanisms of their functioning are, and what investment strategies are effective in various market conditions. We want to teach young people how to identify, assess, and manage risks in the context of investing. An important goal is to make them aware that every financial decision carries risks, but with the right management strategies, potential losses can be minimized. The project's goal is to strengthen young people's skills in long-term financial planning, including investing for the future, retirement planning, and building financial security. We want participants to understand the importance of thinking about their financial future and how to make decisions that will benefit them in the long run. Developing digital competencies related to investing in new technologies With the dynamic development of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, our goal is to educate young people about these modern investment tools. They will learn how blockchain technology works, the benefits and risks associated with investing in cryptocurrencies, and how to navigate the world of digital assets safely. Strengthening critical thinking and analytical skills The project also aims to develop critical thinking and information analysis skills, which are essential for making informed investment decisions. We want participants to be able to analyze market situations, recognize false information, and avoid pitfalls such as investment scams. Supporting financial inclusion and eliminating barriers One of our goals is to ensure that youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, including those with economic or geographical barriers, also have access to financial knowledge. We aim to promote financial inclusion so that every participant, regardless of their background, can gain the tools needed to build their financial stability. In the context of working with youth, our project will use non-formal education (NFE) methods, which will allow participants to gain knowledge in a practical way, involving them directly in activities such as financial market simulations, investment workshops, or creating saving strategies. Participants will also have the opportunity to work in groups, which fosters the development of collaboration skills and the sharing of experiences. In summary, the implementation of this project aims to increase young people's financial competence, improve their awareness of investment opportunities, and equip them with the tools to build a stable financial future. We want youth to feel confident in the world of finance and investments, to be resilient to financial risks, and to be able to make informed decisions based on solid knowledge and practical skills.
