“G.R.E.E.N. - Generation for Rural Environments and Ecological Needs” is a Youth Exchange that will involve 30 young people from 5 European organisations. The project will take place between 15 March 2025 and 14 December 2025. This project idea started when 3 of our participants met in Romania and decided to propose a project on ecology. Nonetheless, as we started to consult with our organisations, we decided to add another relevant dimension to the project: we want to also tackle rural youth life and rural green practices. The aim of this Youth Exchange is to raise the awareness of 30 young people about ecology, more specifically rural ecology, inspiring them to be more green and connected to a simple way of life. The objectives of this project are: Objective 1: To enhance participants’ understanding of ecological concepts and rural sustainability through non-formal education methods. Objective 2: To equip participants with practical skills for a sustainable life, including recycling, upcycling, composting, resource conservation, gardening and critical thinking. Objective 3: To motivate the participants to become more eco-friendly, to get more involved in rural communities and to seek expanding their knowledge about rural heritage and ecology.
