Objectives

As the Klub Blue Foundation, we aim to implement the project “Stones Tell Our Stories” because we recognize the growing challenges faced by today's youth - both in personal and social development. Working daily with young people, we see that they often lack the space to develop their social and professional skills, as well as the tools to effectively express their opinions and engage in actions for their local community. This project addresses these needs by providing young people with an opportunity for comprehensive development. The goal of the project is to support youth in developing communication skills (which are crucial in family, professional, and social life), teamwork based on partnership and mutual respect, and active participation in social life in line with the idea of community-led local development. Participants will learn how to engage in local initiatives, collaborate with others, and express their opinions constructively. An important aspect will be fostering a sense of responsibility for their environment and involving young people in actions for the local community. The project is based on the symbolism of stones - a symbol of strength and durability. By working with this symbol, young people will have the opportunity to reflect on their identity, history, and the value they bring to society. Through this project, young individuals will discover their strengths, learn to appreciate diversity, and begin to build a positive image of their role in the community. In today’s rapidly changing world, youth often struggle with feelings of powerlessness in the face of global issues such as climate change. This project aims to raise their ecological awareness by engaging them in practical actions for environmental protection, allowing them to see that everyone has an impact, and that even small steps matter. Practical ecological workshops will not only educate but also inspire them to take pro-environmental actions in their daily lives. International cooperation within the project will allow young people from different countries to get to know each other, as well as to learn about different cultures and traditions, contributing to the development of attitudes of openness, tolerance, understanding, and respect. This will be an invaluable lesson in an era of increasing social and cultural tensions, while also providing an opportunity to develop skills for functioning in a diverse environment. The project offers young people the chance for personal, social, civic, and professional development through practical workshops and coaching/mentoring. The valuable experiences gained can be utilized in future social activities, such as creating a local Eurodesk point, a Local Volunteer Center, and engaging in the European Solidarity Corps volunteering, as well as in the job market, particularly in entrepreneurship, creativity, organizational skills, and teamwork.
