Objectives

Through the implementation of the project, we primarily wanted to raise awareness among the younger generation that ecological daily actions are important for the well-being of our planet. The project showed that ecology must become our everyday life, where we do not destroy the natural environment, limit waste production, and prevent resource wastage. Through various workshops, we learned simple ways to create ecological cosmetics and cleaning products free of chemicals and preservatives, generating no waste. During inspiring sessions with a Masterchef, we created delicious salads from organic products sourced at the market. Participants learned about the phenomenon of upcycling, giving new life to old t-shirts, adding new value to them. Through practical ecological actions, we promoted sustainable development principles, raised environmental awareness, and developed attitudes of an ecological society. Dostępne są nowe tłumaczenia Angielski In order for the project to reach a wide audience, particularly young people who are shaping their life attitudes, we posted information about activities on social media. We wanted to show them how easy, simple, and enjoyable it can be to live in harmony with nature and change daily habits to eco-friendly ones. This was our main goal: to encourage everyone to start caring for nature, embrace a healthy ecological lifestyle, and have fun while learning. Through various workshops, young people from different cultural backgrounds and with various problems could get to know each other better while working in groups, enhancing empathy and tolerance among participants. The project allowed us to understand that by living on this planet, we must take care of it, and each of us bears eco-responsibility. The result of the project was an ecological happening 'Getting Familiar with Ecology,' which took place in the center of Władysławowo, promoting a life in harmony with nature, encouraging changes in habits, and raising our environmental awareness. In the Czech Republic and Poland, meetings were organized during which participants shared their exchange experiences and proposed environmental initiatives that could be easily implemented in everyday life.
