Low sense of agency and challenges in self-actualization are among the most frequently discussed topics among young people. They often struggle with questions about finding their own career path, achieving stability, and feeling secure in their daily lives. Our project was initiated by a group of young people from different nationalities who joined forces during the international youth exchange “FutureExplorers” held in Italy. Recognizing and developing the potential of each young person, including their skills, preferences, and interests, is crucial for their future and the well-being of society. The project addresses the need for better self-understanding and exploration of one’s predispositions, creating a space for young people who have not yet found their path or who want to gain a deeper understanding of their abilities and talents. Using the design thinking methodology, the project supports personal development, confidence building, expanding career orientation, and fostering empathy. The goal of the event is to support young people in developing teamwork and creative thinking skills by engaging participants in solving current social issues, which contributes to a better understanding of themselves and the world around them. Objectives: - To enhance participants' self-awareness in the context of their predispositions and talents. - To develop and strengthen interpersonal skills, teamwork abilities, coping strategies in stressful situations, and creative problem-solving approaches, both in professional and everyday life. - To emphasize the importance of individuality and the uniqueness of each person through a personalized selection of techniques that will help participants in self-development and finding their own path.
