The main objective of our project was to enable youth workers to acquire coaching skills and competencies that allowed them to support young people both individually and in groups. The following were the specific objectives of the project: - to train 28 youth workers in the use of coaching tools and techniques as well as art therapy methods in order to guide young people more effectively (including those with fewer opportunities); - to train 28 youth workers in developing key competences (communication, teamwork, creativity, technological and entrepreneurial skills) in order to support young people in discovering different educational, developmental, and later career pathways; - to support youth workers and their organisations in discovering and defining their own methods and coaching style of work, in order to foster the inclusion of young people in their projects and initiatives; - to build a support network (community) of youth workers and other interested individuals and institutions; - to disseminate the project results through organised workshops for young people and other educators; - to improve the quality of youth work in the partner organisations involved in the project; - to disseminate and promote coaching tools and techniques as well as art therapy methods through the Coaching Guidebook. Further objectives (in line with the EU Youth Work Agenda, quality standards, and the objectives of the Erasmus+ Programme) included: - contributing to the high quality of organisational work and the development of the youth work system by providing youth workers with coaching and art therapy tools and practice; - promoting active citizenship and social inclusion among young people through the education and training of youth workers and organisations; - building a support network of youth workers and youth organisations that could enhance the quality of projects and activities designed for young people participating in European programmes and beyond.
