Objectives

The aim of our project is to enhance the competencies of youth workers from Poland, Romania, Slovenia, the Netherlands, and Turkey, who support young people with fewer opportunities, particularly in the area of social initiatives and the use of digital tools, including artificial intelligence (AI). The project addresses the need for proper tools and knowledge related to managing organizations and social initiatives, which often hinders the effective coordination of activities and the support provided to young people. Project objectives: Enhancing the competencies of 40 youth workers in the creation, management, and development of organizations and social initiatives. Participants will learn to use AI for automating processes such as data analysis, marketing, resource management, and coordination of volunteer activities. The goal is for 85% of participants to demonstrate significant improvement in their skills after completing the project, which will be measured through surveys conducted before and after mobility activities. Transferring the acquired knowledge to young people from disadvantaged groups, which will contribute to an increase in the number of social initiatives initiated by young people. Youth workers, after returning to their local communities, will be responsible for passing on this new knowledge to young people, increasing their social engagement. The aim is for 30% of the young people involved in the activities of the youth workers to start their own social initiatives within two years after the project ends. Improving the quality of youth support in the five partner countries by implementing digital tools, including AI, in the management of social initiatives. We expect that at least 70% of the youth who participate in activities led by trained youth workers will develop new social and organizational skills, which will enhance their chances for professional and social success. Strengthening international cooperation and the exchange of good practices among partner organizations, allowing for mutual support and sharing of experiences in managing social initiatives and engaging young people from marginalized groups. The goal is to create at least two new international initiatives within a year of completing the project. Creating a guide featuring 20 AI tools for youth organizations, which will support the management of social initiatives. These tools will include data analysis, resource planning, and marketing campaign management. The goal is to distribute the guide to at least 50 organizations within six months after the project ends, allowing for broad dissemination of the acquired knowledge and best practices in youth work. Establishing an international platform for knowledge and experience exchange between youth workers from five countries. The platform will enable the sharing of good practices and educational tools based on AI. The goal is for 80% of participants to actively use the platform after the project ends and for the platform to attract at least 100 external users within the first year of its operation. Conducting 10 online meetings and training sessions, where project participants will share their acquired knowledge with other youth workers in the partner countries. The goal is to organize at least 10 such sessions on the practical use of AI tools and managing social initiatives after the mobility phase. Organizing local meetings with young people after the project ends. The goal is to reach at least 30 young people in each partner country within six months of the project’s conclusion, through workshops and meetings that will help young people apply the knowledge they have gained. Ensuring continuous communication among project participants after the mobility phase, to guarantee the sustainability of results and the ongoing exchange of knowledge. The goal is to organize monthly online meetings and to utilize the knowledge exchange platform for continued collaboration and sharing of good practices. Target group needs: Young people from marginalized groups, including those from rural areas and with limited access to resources, often struggle to lead social initiatives. Youth workers participating in the project will be able to pass on new skills to these young people, enabling them to engage more fully in social and professional life. Achieving the project goals will significantly improve the work of all partner organizations in the field of youth work, and also increase the quality of other activities by providing the opportunity to support social initiatives created by their beneficiaries in the coming years. This approach emphasizes working with young people by enhancing their competencies, activating their involvement, increasing their sense of agency, and creating spaces for self-development through social engagement. Evaluation methods: The increase in competencies will be monitored through surveys conducted at different stages of the project.
