The "New Generation Paper" project was designed with a holistic objective to transform young people’s paper consumption habits by integrating environmental consciousness with the necessity of digital transition. Our primary goal was to address the significant ecological footprint of paper waste—specifically its contribution to deforestation and resource depletion—while promoting digitalization as a practical and sustainable solution. We aimed to equip participants from diverse backgrounds with the digital literacy and tools required to minimize paper use in their academic, professional, and daily lives, thereby reducing their environmental impact through technological innovation. Beyond technical skills, the project sought to cultivate a robust sense of social responsibility and "green leadership" among the youth. By fostering intercultural cooperation, we intended to create a collaborative environment where participants could discover the potential of digital platforms, share best practices for sustainability, and develop the organizational skills necessary to lead environmental initiatives in their own communities. Ultimately, the project aimed to empower a new generation to adopt a paperless lifestyle, ensuring they leave the mobility not only with increased awareness but also with the practical competences to act as multipliers for sustainable development.
