Objectives

With this project, we aim to respond to the growing influence of far-right ideologies, the spread of disinformation, and the rise in social and political polarization in Europe. The main objective was to empower young people with fewer opportunities to recognize, critically reflect on, and actively resist these threats, promoting the values of democracy, inclusion, and respect for diversity. Our goals were: - To promote the active participation of young people from different backgrounds, cultures, and socioeconomic contexts, recognizing the importance of diversity in addressing common issues, gaining a broader perspective, and developing a sense of global citizenship. - To raise awareness of disinformation and extremist ideologies, empowering young people to identify and combat them. - To promote critical thinking and conflict resolution through intercultural dialogue and the sharing of experiences between different communities. - To strengthen democratic values and social cohesion, promoting inclusion and respect for diversity. - Develop practical skills such as collaboration, intercultural communication, and civic engagement, equipping young people to be agents of change in their communities. - Create an international network of young people committed to defending multiculturalism, inclusion, and mutual respect. With this project, we also hoped that participants would return to their homes more aware, confident, and prepared to act against extremism and intolerance, becoming multipliers of what they experienced. At the same time, we aimed to strengthen the capacity of the organizations involved to work with young people on social and political issues through participatory, inclusive, and safe approaches.
