Our project is driven by a set of objectives aimed at enhancing youth work practice in the digital age. We aspire to empower youth workers with the essential knowledge, skills, and resources required to seamlessly integrate digital tools and AI into their practice while upholding ethical and inclusive principles. From the perspective of youth work practice, our objectives are multifaceted. Firstly, we endeavor to strengthen digital literacy among youth workers. This involves equipping them with the necessary skills to effectively navigate and utilize a wide array of digital tools and platforms. By providing training on leveraging social media for outreach, utilizing digital collaboration tools for project management, and harnessing AI technologies to enhance program delivery, we aim to enhance their digital competency. Secondly, we aim to enhance youth engagement and participation by leveraging digital tools and AI. We seek to create interactive and inclusive programming, exploring innovative approaches to involve young people in decision-making processes, co-creation of projects, and fostering peer-to-peer learning and support networks online. Moreover, our project places a strong emphasis on promoting inclusive practices in youth work. We are committed to ensuring that digital tools and AI technologies are accessible and culturally sensitive. This involves training on designing inclusive online spaces, addressing digital divides, and fostering digital citizenship skills among young people. Additionally, we aim to foster critical thinking among youth workers regarding the ethical implications of AI and digital tool usage. By exploring issues such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and digital ethics, we aim to empower youth workers to make informed decisions that prioritize the well-being and rights of young people. Lastly, we strive to build sustainable practices in youth work by promoting the long-term integration of digital tools and AI. This includes providing guidance on developing digital strategies, leveraging technology for monitoring and evaluation, and building partnerships to support ongoing capacity-building efforts. Overall, our project objectives are centered around equipping youth workers with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to harness the potential of digital tools and AI in their practice. Through these efforts, we aim to contribute to the advancement of youth work practice in the digital age, empowering youth workers to effectively support the holistic development of young people in today's rapidly changing world.
