Objectives

By implementing the project "Nature's Heroes: Forest Edition," we aim to achieve the following objectives: 1. Increase knowledge of forest ecosystems and sustainability: We aim to educate young people about the importance of forests, conservation efforts, and environmental sustainability. By the end of the project, 80% of participants will have improved their knowledge of these topics, as measured by pre- and post-mobility self-assessment surveys. 2. Engage participants in hands-on environmental activities: We will involve 100% of participants in activities such as forest clean-ups and tree planting. These experiences will foster a sense of responsibility for the environment and contribute directly to forest conservation efforts. 3. Promote intercultural understanding and collaboration: By working in international teams, participants will develop cross-cultural competencies, enhancing their ability to collaborate effectively with peers from different backgrounds. This will help strengthen European identity and citizenship values. We also want to raise awareness of sustainable practices: Through workshops and activities focused on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, as well as visits to nature reserves, participants will learn about and practice sustainability. They will also be encouraged to apply eco-friendly habits in their daily lives. The project will help participants develop key competences such as teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking, which are essential for active participation in society and future career paths.
