The 6 partners have identified the protection of ecosystems as critical for the future of their communities as it aligns with the organizations’ priorities. All of us have taken various actions in the past to support sustainability and the fight against climate change in our communities. The European policy dedicated to recovering the biodiversity and protecting the ecosystem is called The European Green Deal. According to the European Environment Agency 2020 only 15% of the habitats in the EU are in good conditions. After close analysis of multiple policies, we decided to focus on the & Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 15- “Life on Land” of United Nations which aims to conserve all forms of life on land, by protecting and restoring ecosystems & biodiversity. PROBLEM that generated our project (based on needs of target groups): The low level of knowledge among young people and youth workers about Europe's ecosystem imbalance & ways to protect the ecosystem for the wellbeing of the European citizens. PURPOSE of the project (resulted from problem): To increase the level of knowledge & understanding among the partner organizations connected to Europe's ecosystem imbalance & ways to protect the ecosystem for the interest of its citizens. OBJECTIVES (O) (based on purpose & needs of the 3 groups): O1 for organizations: The 6 organisations to facilitate & provide a non-formal, open-minded & inclusive environment for 36 youth from 6 countries to meet & share the knowledge & skills needed to act for the planet’s ecosystem protection for 9 days during the mobility O2 for youth: The young 36 volunteers to develop citizenship & entrepreneurship as 2 key competences which help them support the ecosystem protection they are fighting for during the entire duration of the project O3 for community: The community to increase their level of education about ecosystem's problems, ways of protecting it & SDG15- “Life on Land” United Nations policy for min 2250 people on social media platforms & 90 people from the local communities during national workshops on the duration of the dissemination and follow-up phase O4 for organizations: The organisations to arrange the space for the 36 youth involved to connect, tie future international collaborations & plan follow-up projects based on the present proposal during the 9 days mobility
