The Youth for the Future - Tineret pentru viitor will be implemented by a group of active young people having the support of Eco Challenge organisation. The main aim of the Youth Participation is to establish a Youth Council in the Gorj county, Romania. 1.Min. 150 young people from Gorj county will increase their understanding of civic engagement, local government functions, policy-making and the role of youth in the community. 2.The core team of 18 young people will improve their leadership and teamwork, critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze community issues, and propose solutions. 3. Min. 150 young people will develop more positive attitudes towards active citizenships and will become more motivated to participate in decision making processes and contributing to the community. 4.18 young people will establish and strengthen channels of communication and collaboration between young people and local decision-makers in Gorj county by creating a local Youth Council.
