The project aims to empower Romanian youth, particularly in urban areas, to actively engage in climate action and influence local green policies. It seeks to bridge the gap between the high level of climate awareness among young people and their limited involvement in decision-making processes at the local level. By equipping them with knowledge, tools, and platforms, the project will increase youth participation in shaping sustainable urban policies and contributing to Romania’s alignment with the EU’s 2030 and 2050 climate goals. This initiative strives to ensure that youth perspectives are integrated into policy-making, thereby fostering an inclusive and equitable green transition.
