As the project is based upon the campaign ”Thirsty for solutions” STSL24, launched on the World Environment Day 2024, we aim to support sustainable development for the younger generation and to raise awareness about the need for free potable water in public spaces across Romania. One of the main goals that we want to achieve by the end of this project is to increase the access to free water in key locations, starting with potable water at the main airport in Bucharest, as it is the only main airport in an european capital without access. We also want to empower the youth to advocate for their needs, creating local changes, potentially expanding access to free water in their own areas, schools and institutions. We want to build a network of motivated young people to act as ambassadors to bring the objectives to life. By getting involved, we target to increase their digital competencies and media literacy and to engage them in dialogues with decision-makers from relevant domains.
