Through this project, we aim to achieve several key objectives focused on promoting intercultural understanding, personal development, sustainability, and long-term collaboration between our youth-organisations from Sweden and Finland. The project aims to: Develop intercultural understanding: We aim to create a learning environment where young people from Sweden and Finland can explore and reflect on their cultural similarities and differences. This will be achieved through the sharing of cultural experiences and by increasing knowledge and understanding of each other's cultures. Promote personal development and leadership: By involving the young participants in the planning, organizing, and execution of project activities, we seek to strengthen their collaboration skills, sense of responsibility, and leadership abilities. The project will also provide opportunities for participants to develop their self-confidence, self-awareness, and social skills, which are usefull for their future involvement in 4H and their personal life. Contribute to sustainable development: A key objective is to increase participants awareness of sustainability issues and encourage them to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle, both locally and internationally. Through workshops and practical activities, we aim to contribute to developing new methods for 4H to work with sustainability in agriculture and community engagement. Strengthen cooperation and networking: The project aims to build lasting friendships and collaboration opportunities between young people in Sweden and Finland, both on a personal and organizational level. A long-term goal is to establish a stable partnership between 4H in Sweden and Finland, enabling future projects and joint initiatives. To summarize, we aim to create an inclusive and educational environment for the young participants, where they can grow as individuals and future leaders while promoting sustainability and fostering long-term cooperation between our organizations.
