Our overall goal is to increase young people's participation in democratic life, shared values and community involvement. Young employees at Fritidsgården in Emmaboda and Växtverket in Olofström and groups of youngsters will work with concrete "cases" learning to plan, prepare, implement and evaluate cultural events. The youngsters will also focus on digital transformation. We have several sub-goals, the most important are: - Give young people the opportunity to get involved and learn to participate in civil society by organizing events for other young people. - Create forums for informal, experiential learning between the groups of youngsters in our participating locations. -Support young people to develop active citizenship and strengthen their personal and social skills. We will also increase knowledge of the "European Union's charter on fundamental rights” among both young people and employees, and create a collegial exchange of experience and learning between the staff.
