In today's world, where globalization has completely taken over various aspects of our lives, constant understanding between cultures and mutual respect is becoming a key element for peaceful and productive coexistence. The Erasmus+ youth exchange project entitled "Bridge between cultures", which connects Slovenian, Chinese and Bulgarian participants, strives to achieve several goals that focus on the practical aspects of youth work and intercultural dialogue. Objectives of the project: - To strengthen intercultural understanding and cooperation One of the main goals of the project is to promote intercultural dialogue between young people from Slovenia, China and Bulgaria. Meetings, workshops and joint activities allow participants to share experiences, traditions and cultural differences, which contributes to better understanding and respect between different nations. - Develop language and communication skills Language is a bridge that connects people. Through various workshops that include language games and cultural presentations, participants will develop their language skills and learn basic expressions and phrases in the language of their colleagues. This not only contributes to understanding, but also to greater self-confidence of young people when communicating with people from other cultures. - To promote the personal and social development of young people The "Bridge Between Cultures" project also strives to promote the personal development of the participants. Youth workers and mentors will support participants in overcoming challenges, which will contribute to the development of their soft skills such as empathy, teamwork, conflict resolution and creativity. These developmental processes are important for the formation of independent and responsible individuals. - Strengthening economic and cultural ties between countries By engaging young people from different cultural backgrounds, the project encourages the exchange of ideas and practices, which can lead to long-term connections between Slovenians, Chinese and Bulgarians. Such links can facilitate economic cooperation, youth exchange and subsequent new partnership in various projects. - Increasing the engagement of young people in local communities By actively involving participants in local projects and social activities, we want to encourage their active participation in the community. With this, we want to show young people how they can have a positive impact on the environment and co-create better conditions for life in their communities through greater engagement and voluntary work. The Erasmus+ youth exchange project "Bridge between cultures" represents a unique opportunity for young people to build bridges between different cultures and develop their skills and knowledge. General goals aimed at intercultural understanding, personal development and active participation in social life contribute to the creation of a more tolerant and connected future. By discovering and understanding differences, we can together build a world where openness and respect will reign.
