Objectives

The idea for our project was born from a simple yet profound realization: today, we communicate more than ever before, yet we find it increasingly difficult to truly connect with one another. Our lives are filled with messages, posts, and notifications, but honest, face-to-face conversations are becoming increasingly rare. This project emerged as a response to that reality – with the aim of helping young people rediscover the power of authentic communication and confident self-expression. With this project, we wanted to take participants beyond the screens – into the art of presence, active listening, and clear, empathetic expression. Our goal was not only to teach young people, but to transform the way they connect with others and with themselves. The main objectives of our project were to: - Raise awareness about the importance of genuine, in-person communication – both for personal and professional growth. - Develop effective self-presentation skills to help young people express themselves confidently and authentically in various life situations – from job interviews to intercultural cooperation. - Help young people overcome feelings of loneliness and dependence on the digital world (a challenge that was greatly amplified during the long period of isolation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic) by relearning how to connect and collaborate in person. - Promote inclusive and empathetic communication, where every voice – regardless of background or ability – is heard and valued. - Strengthen teamwork, leadership, and creative problem-solving skills, using communication as a tool for mutual understanding and positive social change. By highlighting the challenges brought by digitalization and the loss of genuine social skills, this project aimed to rekindle the meaning of “expression and impression” – not through perfection or performance, but through authenticity, compassion, and confidence.
