The goal of the project is to strengthen the leadership and civic competencies of 40 selected young people from all regions of Slovakia by February 2026. These individuals will then become leaders within their local youth communities and will be prepared to lead changes in their communities, towns, or cities. The strengthening of competencies will take place through thematic educational workshops and webinars, as well as networking with policymakers and inspiring public figures. These young people will connect with each other and, with the support of mentors, will carry out at least 20 local civic initiatives (focused on one of four topics: promoting dialogue, the environment, mental health, and community development), thereby engaging an additional 300 young people. In their civic engagement, they will promote EU values, including the principles of democratic governance.
