With the conduction of our project, we aimed to create strong awareness about children’s rights among both young people and society as a whole, and to take various steps toward protecting these rights. We acted with the awareness that access to basic rights for children is an essential condition for a healthy and sustainable society. In this direction, we aimed to foster lasting awareness for the defense, protection, and advancement of children’s rights through the active participation of young people. With the implementation of our project, our most significant achievement was the clear increase in young people’s knowledge, awareness, and sensitivity regarding children’s rights. Throughout the project, through trainings, workshops, and awareness activities, young people understood that children’s rights are not merely a theoretical concept but a universal value that must be protected in every aspect of life. In this process, they became more conscious about issues such as preventing violence, discrimination, and abuse, taking an important step toward becoming individuals who create change in their surroundings. The project also strengthened young people’s empathy and sense of social responsibility. Understanding the difficulties children face and the impact of these difficulties on social development, young people actively took on roles to protect children’s rights to education, health, and safety. This approach enabled them to become pioneers of change not only on an individual level but also on a societal level. Additionally, the project succeeded in developing young people’s advocacy skills and establishing a youth network capable of defending children’s rights on local, national, and international levels. Through this network, young people formed a community that acts in solidarity against violations of children’s rights and raises awareness. Thus, the project evolved from being merely a short-term awareness initiative into a youth movement that creates sustainable impact.
