The “Minds Matter” project was developed in response to the increasing mental health challenges faced by young people across Europe, including stress, anxiety, social pressure, and lack of emotional awareness. The main objective of the project was to raise awareness about mental health and reduce the stigma surrounding it, especially among young people with fewer opportunities. The project aimed to create a safe and inclusive space where participants could openly express their emotions, share experiences, and learn from each other. Additionally, the project focused on developing key competences such as emotional intelligence, communication, empathy, and self-awareness. It also aimed to promote intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, and active participation of young people in their communities. Through non-formal education methods, the project sought to empower participants with practical tools to better understand and manage their emotions, contributing to their personal development and well-being.
