Our project aims to highlight the challenges faced by individuals who have been forced to leave their homelands due to religious differences, armed conflicts, natural disasters, political and economic crises. By raising awareness of these difficulties, we aim to reduce racism and opposition towards migrants, refugees, and minorities. We also aim to foster a comprehensive understanding of the terms "migrant" and "refugee." Our goal is to help people understand why these individuals have to leave the lands where they were born and raised, and the hardships they face in the process. We aim to increase awareness in society about the difficulties faced by migrants and refugees and ensure that participants can clearly distinguish between these concepts. Our project focuses on improving the key competencies of our participants while also aiming to enhance their foreign language skills. Furthermore, we aim to empower disadvantaged participants to realize that they are an integral part of society, thus increasing their societal engagement. Additionally, we aim to deepen the cultural understanding of our participants regarding the issues of migrants, refugees, and minorities. This will help create a more inclusive society. By supporting participants in becoming future project coordinators, we can positively impact their career development. We also aim to diversify the work of our partners through the input of our participants, benefiting from different perspectives. Our project further targets an increase in the number of people benefiting from the Erasmus+ program. By doing so, we intend to expand the reach of our partners and their work to a broader audience. Moreover, we aim to increase the number of volunteers in our partner organizations, which will further amplify the impact of our project. One of the key focuses of our project is to address the hardships faced by seasonal workers, who often live in poor conditions, struggle with inadequate access to housing, education, and healthcare, and face social exclusion and discrimination. These workers, including migrants and refugees, are subjected to challenging working conditions and limited access to essential services. By raising awareness of the struggles they endure, our project aims to bring these issues to light and help reshape society's perceptions of seasonal workers. Understanding the difficulties faced by seasonal laborers will contribute to breaking the negative stereotypes and improving societal integration for these individuals. Through our efforts, we aim to reduce the challenges faced by migrants and refugees and promote the idea that they are valuable members of society. Our project also seeks to address the issue of violence against migrant and refugee children, ensuring they grow up in a safe and supportive environment. Moreover, our project aims to increase awareness of the Erasmus+ program, encouraging more people to benefit from it. In addition, we will encourage more initiatives like this to take place in Düzce and other regions where our partners are active, helping our project’s impact to spread even further. Finally, by writing new projects and expanding our partnerships, we aim to reach more people and continue to make a positive impact. Through these initiatives, our project will have a long-term, sustainable effect, contributing to meaningful social change.
