The SEL4Youth: Building Resilient Leaders project is designed to enhance the professional development of youth workers by equipping them with essential skills and knowledge to better support young people facing mental health challenges. Objectives of the Project: The primary goal of the KA153-YOU project is to empower youth workers with effective strategies to address the growing mental health concerns among youth, particularly anxiety and depression. This objective will be achieved by focusing on the implementation of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) practices within youth work. Specifically, we aim to: Improve youth workers’ understanding of mental health issues and their impact on young people. Equip participants with practical tools and techniques for facilitating SEL activities that promote resilience and emotional well-being among youth. Foster a supportive network of youth workers who can share experiences and collaborate on future initiatives. Encourage participants to implement their learning within their organizations, thus transforming the approach to youth work through the integration of SEL principles.
