With the implementation of our project, we aimed to raise awareness about the protection and sustainability of marine ecosystems. The main starting point of our project was the increasing marine pollution, loss of biodiversity, and the threat to the habitats of marine life. We aimed to strengthen both individual and social responsibility awareness by increasing the level of awareness among youth workers in particular. Throughout the project, we organized various theoretical and practical training sessions and activities on the protection of marine ecosystems, the adoption of sustainable fishing methods, and the promotion of environmentally friendly practices. In this way, we contributed to the development of youth workers' knowledge and skills on the subject. The increased knowledge level of youth workers during the process has contributed to the development level of young people and society on the subject. In this context, the objectives of our project were as follows: - To ensure that participants are informed about the causes of marine pollution, the consequences of this pollution, and the measures that can be taken to address this situation, - To support the development of a sense of responsibility from both an individual and societal perspective, - To raise awareness of social responsibilities regarding pollution and environmental protection/environmental sustainability, - To ensure understanding of the damage caused to the ecosystem by plastic waste, microplastics, and other types of pollution, - To support the protection of biodiversity in marine ecosystems, - To support raising awareness about endangered species, - To support the promotion of sustainable fishing methods that are not threatening to the marine ecosystem, - To foster collective awareness regarding these fishing methods, - To support the personal development of youth workers by enabling them to gain knowledge on various topics, - To enhance youth workers' skills in problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and creativity, - To ensure that the Erasmus+ Program, projects, and Youthpass Certificate, along with the benefits derived from such activities, become known to young people, youth workers, and participants with fewer opportunities, - Supporting the increased visibility of the program and projects, - Developing participants' social, communication, and language skills, - Contributing to the professional development of youth workers, - Supporting the increase in social development and awareness levels in terms of responsibilities in social life, Our project has achieved many goals in these areas. In some areas, these objectives were also supported to a certain extent.
