The project successfully completed all the elements specified in the application text. It even carried out one extra event. The number of participants also increased from 208 to 399. Through seven project activities, awareness was raised among disadvantaged groups of foreign students and local youth in Mersin, Ankara, Isparta, and Antalya (Konyaaltı) regarding the desire to live together, preventing conflicts in schools and social settings, and promoting a culture of reconciliation. This increased awareness among stakeholders, primarily teachers and students, and helped them develop the ability to adopt and translate the concept of citizenship embraced by the European Union into behavior. The project aimed to develop programs, modules, e-books, pilot studies, project objectives, and a policy document as project outputs that actively implement cultural diversity, respect for differences, a culture of reconciliation, and the desire and habit of living together in all areas of life, including at home and at school. As a result, the project enabled young participants to actively participate in identifying and solving problems in Türkiye and developed their citizenship skills.
