Our core objectives were: 1. Empowerment of youth workers in cross-thematic skills: needs assessment of target groups, facilitation, leadership and impact/learning outcome measurements 2. Developing new methodologies (for sport and experiential learning) to foster active citizenship, social inclusion and physical and mental wellbeing in young people 3. Developing youth work for self-development and skills development of young people We have kept our original objectives as our overarching strategy not only within our organization but with our well built network and partnerships. As the accreditation gave us the opportunity to sustain and further strengthen collaborations with our international partners, we are getting better outcomes and results while striving for our objectives together. The long term impact hence in this way is more tangible and the feedbacks, long-term measurements are more positive. Further explanations on our objectives: 1. MTBY empowers trainers and youth workers locally and globally, fostering their development through training and learning opportunities. Our goal is to sustain our impact in experiential learning, positive psychology, well-being, lifestyle coaching, education through sport, and inclusive movement-based activities. Rather than imparting new content, we focus on enhancing cross-sectional skills to improve youth work and training capabilities. Participants, including trainers, youth workers, sport practitioners, and coaches, gain expertise. 2. Sport and nature-based activities are powerful tools to address societal challenges. We use them to promote inclusion, cross-cultural understanding, peace, and healthy lifestyles. Our focus includes: Active Citizenship: Encouraging young people to engage in their communities and learn important values. Social Inclusion: Especially targeting youth with fewer opportunities, with migration backgrounds for instance or with limited access to education or international opportunities. Physical and Mental Well-being: Promoting healthy lifestyles and overall well-being. Under this objective, we include actions that are directed to youth workers and sport practitioners in order to enable them to explore and apply this dimension of sport, outdoor activities and movement-based activity and produce social impact in their future career through sport and movement. 3.Our main aim was two fold: fostering the self-development of young people and the acquisition of key (soft and 21 century) skills by using mindfulness, mental health and wellbeing oriented coaching methods in order to convey these skills to young people. Under this objective we train youth workers and coaches to use innovative methods (e.g. NLP, Silva method, positive psychology, movement) in order to convey fundamental skills to young people in their daily activities. After Corona finally globally it became more recognised that mindfulness, positive psychology and self-help methods for stress management are ultimately important. Thanks to the opened recognition, our expertise is ever more wanted and needed not only at local, national but also international level by our partners. As we are experts in these topics, we get many requests to tailor partners target group's needs and develop further methods to tackle their problems. Young people are mentally less resilient due to the influences from the outside world, the social media and the consumerist mindset that keeps them running day by day on and off the phone. We are eager to support their challenges and offer further advanced programmes such as Stress to Strength, Digital Detox and more.
