We felt and had insights on how big challenges are for us nowadays being on the roads of reduced empathy and social skills due to living almost fully in the virtual world which leads us to the endless circle of problems like thousands of young people around the world. We made connections to our like minded peers from our countries and through support of the organizations involved in this project we turned our idea into action and developed this project together. Majority of us are artistic types of people, however we wished to work on something different from our previous experience and at the same time to have a possibility to feel and have the connection with mother earth and nature, as the origin of all of us. Thanks to the organizations involved, where we are volunteers and some of us active members, and their experience and contacts, we have selected an incredibly interesting tool for our project: working on Ceramic - an engaging method for self-expression, creativity, art treatment, social and community involving activity. Our projects objectives are: To explore and understand different cultures, traditions and history To speak up about our and other youth problems in our countries To let ourselves be ourselves and find out our own way, identities, interests of study, work and orientation of life To explore our weak and strong aspects and create self-development plan To practice an indigenous cultural method - working on ceramics - and use it to improve mental health, increase creativity, self-expression and self-esteem To involve ourselves and other young people in social and community activities To create project descriptive HANDBOOK as a youth 2 youth sharing tool of knowledge, methods and experience form our project To explore more about Erasmus + programme opportunities for youth and draft together future joint project ideas and action plans
