As a group of students in Johannes Kepler University who are passionate about Erasmus+, we have initiated “Future Starts Tomorrow” Erasmus+ youth project to focus on supporting young people in their social and professional development, particularly in the areas of career opportunities, digital skills, and entrepreneurship. Because, in a changing world the labor market is shaping so fast and gets challenging by different technologies and as young people we have to adapt and see the opportunities for our personal development. Therefore, we found common interest with other young people representing different orgaizations and realied our project. Our project addressed the growing need for practical skills and networking opportunities, especially for young people with fewer opportunities, by providing participants with access to mentors, industry experts, and successful entrepreneurs. Throughout the project, participants enhanced their critical thinking abilities, soft skills, and employment readiness, which empowered them to better navigate a competitive job market. Key objectives included fostering entrepreneurial activity, raising awareness of civic engagement, and promoting digital growth among young people. The project supported 36 participants from various countries and enabled them to explore also European opportunities such as Erasmus Traineeships, the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), and Erasmus Youth Entrepreneurship which has huge potential for personal development, career and networking opportunities. Our initiative contributed to the development of innovative and socially responsible young leaders capable of positively influencing national and European policies, strengthening partner organizations, and facilitating young people’s successful integration into the labor market.
