Natural disasters are dangerous events that occur in the world largely or completely outside the control of humans and have very high material and moral destructive and shocking effects on living things. There are various types of natural disasters such as floods, tsunamis, forest fires and earthquakes. Our aim in the project is to inform young people about natural disasters, to enable them to learn about the destructive and shocking effects of natural disasters, to ensure that some of the natural disasters cannot be prevented, but their natural effects can be reduced with the measures to be taken andawareness, etc. It is to ensure that they learn the knowledge and equipment that will improve themselves on the subjects by using informal education methods as active participants and preparers. After the end of the youth exchanges, we aim that the project will be sustainable and the project purpose will reach more young people with the activities that the young people will do in the locality and the activities they will do using some of the informal education methods used during the youth exchange and the activities they will present the information they have learnt. Apart from the main topic of our project, we aim to provide young people with many social gains such as gaining presentation skills, taking an active role in the group and group leadership, learning different cultures and adaptation skills, improving their foreign languages.
