As part of the pilot project "Youth Develop Politics" (J.E.P.), tailored and innovative youth participation formats are being developed and implemented together with young people in three rural municipalities in Styria. These formats are designed to have a lasting impact beyond the project and later be expanded to other rural communities. The overarching goal is to strengthen cooperation between local politics, municipal administration, and youth centers, ensuring that young people have a say in decision-making processes. By fostering closer connections between youth and local politics, the project aims to create participation formats that meet their needs. In the long run, this will contribute to better living conditions and future opportunities for young people in rural areas.
