The central aim was to lead the young people, all from disadvantaged neighbourhoods and facing fewer opportunities, toward an evolution in their mindsets by raising their concrete awareness of identity diversity and the imperative need for social inclusion. This involved actively deconstructing the stereotypes the young people held, starting by working on their own representations. An essential objective was to define European citizenship as a common foundation of belonging. This foundation was intended to allow each young person to perceive themselves as a multifaceted individual, open to the world, and respectful of others, by promoting the idea that "We" should take precedence over the individualism of "I". Regarding skills development, the project aimed for the young people to gain a better command of the topic of inclusion and develop their ability to speak publicly to confidently defend their ideas. Following the preparatory work, the goal was to validate and reinforce their critical thinking and argumentation skills when facing other groups. The creative workshops (podcast, photo, video) were designed to give the young people concrete tools to express their point of view. These productions were meant to synthesize the knowledge gained and keep a living record of the project. Concerning partnership and impact, by choosing Martinique, a crossroads of cultures (European, African, Caribbean), the objective was to use this context to confront the young people with different identity realities and question local policies regarding diversity. Finally, the exchange was expected to result in a co-constructed answer to the question "Multiple Identities or how to build inclusion through dialogue?". The objective was to widely disseminate this answer and the young people’s productions via a closing event and social media, in order to raise the awareness of a broader public about the principles of diversity and inclusion.
