The primary aim of the "Economic Empowerment Across Borders" project is to address the need for improved financial literacy among young Europeans, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the challenges posed by the current economic environment. This project aims to empower young people, foster economic resilience, and promote social cohesion and European solidarity through educational and participatory methods. The key objectives of the project are as follows: First, the project seeks to enhance financial literacy among young Europeans. By providing critical knowledge on topics such as budgeting, saving, investing, and understanding economic trends, participants will be better prepared to manage their personal finances and understand the economic factors that affect their lives. Second, the project aims to foster a better understanding of different value stores, both traditional and alternative. This will provide participants with insights into how various assets can be used for wealth preservation, while also addressing the risks and opportunities associated with them. Third, the project is focused on building economic resilience. This involves teaching participants practical skills and adaptive strategies that will help them navigate economic challenges, such as inflation or rising living costs, and encouraging innovative thinking about economic participation. Another important objective is to stimulate European solidarity and economic awareness. By bringing together young Europeans from different backgrounds, the project fosters dialogue and exchange, promoting a unified approach to tackling economic challenges and strengthening a sense of collective action. Finally, the project aims to empower participants through community-based initiatives. It encourages the development of local projects that address specific economic challenges in participants’ communities, extending the impact of the project beyond its immediate participants.
