The Me.You.We. project is an international exchange between young people from Belgium and Cyprus. Both participating organizations, JES vzw (be) and Youth Dynamics Group (cy), work with young people facing social vulnerability. They grow up in an environment where opportunities are not obvious and where the path to personal development and social participation is complicated by economic, social and geographical factors. With this exchange, we want to - strengthen their identity and give them the opportunity to develop their skills (me) - challenge them to exchange with young people who, from their experience and background, have a different view of the world (you) - make them experience being part of a broader, international community (we) Specifically, we are pursuing the following objectives: 1. Young people are given the opportunity to step out of their comfort zone and challenge themselves in a new environment, strengthening their self-confidence and resilience. 2. Young people's self-awareness and personal growth is stimulated by having them reflect on their identity, talents and ambitions through interactive workshops and reflection moments 3. Youth develop intercultural skills by exchanging experiences with peers and understanding different cultural perspectives. 4. Young people increase their understanding of social issues such as social inclusion, racism and active citizenship and are encouraged to reflect on their own role within their community.
