The project "The Power of Us: Building Resilience & Connection" aims to create an environment where young people feel connected, supported, and empowered to take on leadership roles within their communities. The central goal is to strengthen solidarity and youth well-being by fostering safe spaces where young people can express themselves, develop essential skills, and build strong support networks. By reinforcing solidarity as a core value in youth work, the project seeks to enhance the confidence of young leaders, enabling them to contribute actively to their organizations and society. A key objective of the project is to provide capacity-building opportunities for youth organizations by equipping young volunteers with tools to engage in leadership, advocacy, and community-building. This initiative will help youth organizations create a stronger foundation for youth-led initiatives, ensuring that young leaders are well-prepared to take responsibility in both local and international youth work. Additionally, the project aspires to encourage long-term engagement among young leaders by providing them with meaningful learning experiences and networking opportunities. It is not just a single event but part of a broader, long-term process that nurtures youth leadership at multiple levels. The project is structured around three main focus areas inspired by the EU Youth Strategy: Engage, Empower, and Connect. Through these pillars, the initiative encourages active participation, strengthens advocacy skills, and promotes cooperation between youth organizations across Europe. By focusing on these fundamental aspects, the project aligns itself with European youth objectives and aims to ensure that young people are given the opportunities and support they need to grow personally and professionally.
