The project "Art for building communities" aims to achieve several key objectives from the perspective of youth work, focusing on personal development, community engagement, and the professional growth of youth workers. 1. Supporting youth workers through artistic tools for community building The primary goal is to provide youth workers with practical skills for creating and maintaining inclusive communities through various forms of art, such as music, cinema, literature, applied arts, theater, and storytelling. Art is seen as a powerful tool for self-expression, social cohesion, and personal development. By integrating artistic practices, youth workers can create environments where young people feel connected, valued, and inspired to participate actively in their communities. 2. Promoting inclusion and social integration One of the main objectives is to address social isolation and the lack of a sense of belonging that many young people experience, especially those from marginalized groups. The project focuses on creating inclusive spaces where diversity is celebrated, and young people from different cultural, social, and economic backgrounds can interact meaningfully. We aim to support marginalized youth by providing tools and methodologies that encourage active participation and boost their self-confidence. 3. Developing leadership and community-building skills The project aims to develop the capacity of youth workers to be effective leaders within their communities. This includes facilitating group processes that stimulate collaboration and solidarity, as well as building skills in decision-making, conflict management, and supporting group dynamics in the communities they serve. 4. Supporting personal and professional development Through participation in the project, youth workers will have the opportunity to: - Develop personal and social competencies that will make them more confident and effective in their work. - Improve their communication skills, including in the context of intercultural communication. - Gain new knowledge and methods that can be directly applied in their daily youth work activities. 5. Expanding the International network and exchange of best practices The project will bring together youth workers from eight different countries, creating a platform for sharing experiences and best practices. This will promote collaboration between organizations at local, national, and international levels and enable the exchange of innovative methodologies and successful examples of youth work. 6. Improving digital skills and working in online environments The project includes a digital component aimed at: Developing digital skills for creating and maintaining online communities. Using digital tools to engage young people who may not have easy access to in-person events. 7. Sustainable impact and dissemination of results The project aims to have a long-term impact by: - Creating sustainable networks of youth workers who will continue to share and apply the knowledge gained even after the project concludes. - Developing an interactive guidebook and a documentary film, which will serve as valuable resources for other youth organizations and professionals in the field. - Through these objectives, the project seeks to create lasting change in the youth work sector, fostering environments where young people feel empowered, engaged, and connected to their communities.
