Why do we want to do this project? Because a little more than 2 years ago we started the construction of an Eco Demonstration Center in the village of Srednogorovo. Since then, we have seen every day the need of young people from this small settlement to be more mobile. A year earlier, we noticed this need in the young people from another settlement in the village of Dunavtsi, where we work with the beneficiaries of Optima Protected Area. Thus, the answer is to reach young people with fewer opportunities who would not apply on their own initiative. To reach young people with fewer opportunities who would not apply on their own initiative; We will primarily aim to overcome the barriers that prevent these young people from participating directly in the DiscoverEU common application round and providing the necessary support they need to be able to travel; to stimulate and improve the development of competences and skills of young people with fewer opportunities participating in DiscoverEU. We have identified serious problems and inequalities that these young people face, including severe social isolation. This is happening with the support of the community center activists in these small settlements. We also work well with the community centers in 2 more villages - Koprinka and Buzovgrad. The main addressees of the project will be 18-year-old youth from such small settlements with their problems and needs. They will have the opportunity to gain short-term group experience by traveling across Europe by rail and/or other modes of transport.
