Objectives

The project targets training of educators/volunteers/trainers/teachers in 3D printing for sustainable development and enhanced digital and entrepreneurial skills with an emphasis on circular economy approaches. The use of hands-on workshops and mobility activities will enable us to incorporate 3D printing into our services and learning objectives and foster the development of products sustainably for disadvantaged learners to harness digital innovation and get employment opportunities.

Background

This project aims to addressing the skills gap in education alongside promoting sustainability via 3D printing. Hands-on training for digital fabrication is often inaccessible to a large number of educators and learners which limits their ability to create sustainable solutions. We seek to equip them with knowledge on 3D printing technology to skate on the emerging technologies and foster social, educational innovation and entrepreneurship in Cyprus by participating in Erasmus+.
