Objectives

By implementing this project, we aim to empower young women through leadership development, inclusion, and personal growth, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to become agents of change in their communities. The project seeks to foster intercultural understanding, collaboration, and the creation of a supportive network among participants and organizations, all within the framework of youth work practices. The overarching goal is to promote gender equality and strengthen the role of young women in leadership and decision-making processes, particularly in contexts where they face barriers due to social, economic, or cultural factors. Objectives of the Project: 1. Develop Leadership Skills in Young Women: The project aims to provide participants with tools and opportunities to develop key leadership skills, such as communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and strategic thinking. By engaging in non-formal learning activities, interactive workshops, and practical exercises, participants will gain hands-on experience in leading, collaborating, and organizing, all of which are essential competencies for youth work and community engagement. 2. Promote Inclusion and Diversity: A central objective is to create an inclusive environment where participants from diverse backgrounds, including those with fewer opportunities, can engage equally and meaningfully. The project will address issues of social, cultural, and economic exclusion, fostering empathy and mutual respect among participants. Through intercultural exchanges and collaborative activities, the project will promote diversity as a strength in youth work and leadership. 3. Empower Participants to Act as Change-Makers: The project seeks to empower participants by building their confidence and encouraging them to take initiative in addressing challenges within their communities. Participants will be equipped with the skills and motivation to design and implement youth-led projects, focusing on themes such as social inclusion, empowerment, and sustainable development. 4. Foster Collaboration and Networking: Another key objective is to strengthen the network of youth organizations and individuals involved in the project. By creating opportunities for participants and partners to collaborate during and after the exchange, the project will establish lasting connections that promote knowledge-sharing and joint initiatives. These networks will enhance the capacity of youth work practices by bringing together diverse perspectives and resources. 5. Incorporate Sports and Non-Formal Learning as Tools for Engagement: The project highlights the use of sports, particularly basketball and 3x3 formats, as a powerful tool for youth engagement and leadership development. Through team-based activities and experiential learning, participants will explore how sports can foster inclusion, teamwork, and resilience. This aligns with the broader goals of youth work to provide creative and engaging ways for young people to learn and grow. 6. Promote Sustainable Practices and Awareness: By integrating sustainable practices and raising awareness of environmental issues, the project aims to encourage participants to adopt eco-friendly behaviors in their personal lives and youth work initiatives. This objective aligns with the values of responsible leadership and future-oriented thinking. By achieving these objectives, the project will contribute to the professional and personal development of participants while advancing the goals of youth work. It will empower young women to lead with confidence, foster inclusive and sustainable communities, and drive meaningful change, ensuring a lasting impact beyond the project’s lifetime.
