Through the implementation of this project, we aim to address several needs identified among young people, particularly those facing fewer opportunities. These needs include overcoming barriers related to discrimination, cultural differences, geographical limitations, and social isolation. Participants often lack access to opportunities for cross-cultural interaction, personal development, and the acquisition of practical skills that are crucial for their active participation in society. Additionally, there is a growing need to raise awareness about sustainability, environmental responsibility, and youth engagement in community and social issues. The project will provide a platform to meet these needs by creating opportunities for young people from different countries to come together, engage in non-formal learning, and share experiences. Through the youth exchange, participants will be exposed to diverse perspectives, gain skills related to sustainability and social inclusion, and build a sense of European identity and responsibility. The exchange will be particularly impactful for participants who have fewer opportunities, empowering them with the tools to overcome challenges and actively contribute to their communities. The project will involve young people from five countries: Hungary, Georgia, Poland, Greece, and Ukraine, with a total of 38 participants. This diverse group will be supported by six group leaders and two facilitators. The inclusion of different cultural backgrounds will foster cross-cultural learning and mutual understanding among participants, who will engage in a variety of activities focused on sustainability, inclusion, and empowerment. The key objectives of the project are: -- To foster intercultural learning and mutual understanding among participants from different backgrounds -- To equip young people with practical skills related to sustainability, environmental protection, and social inclusion -- To promote active citizenship and European values, especially among those with fewer opportunities -- To empower participants with the confidence and tools to take action in their communities -- To create a platform for participants to engage in peer learning and exchange ideas on local and global issues -- To develop participants' leadership skills, enabling them to be active agents of change in their communities In summary, the project will provide young people with the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and skills, particularly in sustainability and inclusion, while promoting intercultural understanding and European values. Through this exchange, we aim to empower youth to take a more active role in society and become leaders in their own communities. The diverse group of participants will create a rich environment for learning and sharing, ensuring that the outcomes of the project will be impactful and long-lasting.
