Objectives

The aim of our project is to support young people to consciously develop their mental health, emotional resilience and personal growth through active imagery and other self-development techniques and to provide them with tools and strategies to help them better manage stress, develop emotional intelligence and enhance their personal well-being. In doing so, we aim to support the EU's thrust on giving young people better access to self-development in the field of mental health. The project aims to: To develop the personal growth and wellbeing of young people: The project focuses on empowering young people to know themselves better, manage stress and develop their emotional and mental balance through active imagination and self-development techniques. Strengthen psychological resilience and self-awareness: the aim is to help participants better understand their thought processes and emotions, enabling them to cope with challenging life situations and improve their overall sense of wellbeing. Encourage creativity and self-reflection: Through active imagination and other creative techniques, participants will learn to think in new ways about themselves and their potential, which will enhance their ability to solve problems and develop personal goals. Create long-term tools for mental well-being: Participants will learn practical tools they can use after the project to maintain their well-being and self-development, both in their personal and professional lives. a) Developing mental health and wellbeing: To provide young people with techniques and strategies to maintain their mental wellbeing, including skills in stress management, emotion regulation and personal growth. To encourage participants to actively use imagery and visualisation to improve self-awareness and mental balance. To raise awareness of the importance of mental health and wellbeing and give participants tools they can further disseminate in their community. b) Promoting personal and social development: to improve self-reflection and awareness of one's own values, strengths and weaknesses through practical self-development exercises. Strengthen participants' social and interpersonal skills, especially their ability to communicate and cooperate in different settings. Develop empathy and active listening skills, which are important for building healthy relationships and teamwork. c) Creative approach to problem solving and challenges: Encourage young people to be creative in finding solutions to personal and professional challenges, which includes using active imagination techniques to develop new perspectives and ideas. e) Creating a sustainable community for self-development: To foster the emergence of a community of young people who share an interest in active imagination, self-development and wellbeing, creating a platform for mutual support and sharing of experiences beyond the end of the project. All participants will take away concrete skills that they can apply in their daily lives, in their studies, in their jobs or in their community work. For example, stress management techniques can be used in challenging school or work situations. Participants who work or plan to work with young people (e.g. in schools, leisure activities or mentoring) will be able to incorporate these techniques into their practice, thereby increasing the effectiveness of their work and promoting the mental wellbeing of the young people they work with. Participants will be motivated to disseminate the knowledge and experience gained during the project to their peers, helping to ensure the long-term impact of the project beyond the direct participants.
