Objectives

The project aimed to support the development of paravaulting as an inclusive equestrian sport and to show that sport with horses can be open to everyone. By bringing together European partners, the project focused on learning from each other, sharing experiences, and improving the quality of work with young people with disabilities. Throughout the project, participants had the opportunity to take part in practical activities, try new training methods, and gain hands-on experience both in the gym and in the equestrian environment. A strong emphasis was placed on safety, inclusion, respect for individual needs, and building a positive and respectful relationship with the horse. The project also created space for exchanging good practice in paravaulting, para-equestrian sport, and equine assisted acitvities, while exploring different approaches and looking for ways to further develop them together. An important part of the project was strengthening international cooperation and motivating young people with disabilities by giving them the chance to experience international paravaulting events and competitions for the first time. Through this project, we aimed to raise awareness of paravaulting, promote inclusion in sport, support the professional growth of volunteers and practitioners, and build strong foundations for long-term international cooperation in the field of inclusive equestrian sports.
