This project aims to address the current challenges faced by young people in Europe, particularly in the areas of unemployment and the climate crisis. In recent years, the economic independence and employment prospects of young people have significantly deteriorated, especially following the 2008 financial crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the war in Ukraine. Young people are struggling with job market uncertainty, a mismatch between their qualifications and available positions, a lack of employment opportunities, and limited access to financial resources and education, all of which hinder their ability to pursue entrepreneurial ambitions. The main goal of our project is to motivate young people to actively engage in solving environmental issues by developing their entrepreneurial ideas in the field of eco-friendly startups. The project focuses on equipping participants with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills that will enable them to establish successful and sustainable businesses. Given the increasing demand for specific competencies, we also aim to enhance participants’ practical skills in areas such as risk management, navigating funding opportunities, and strategic business planning—all through non-formal education. Furthermore, we want to provide real-world insights by not only offering lectures but also inviting successful entrepreneurs to share their personal journeys and experiences. Additionally, the project responds to the growing need to strengthen young people's awareness of sustainability and environmental issues. Encouraging them to think about business from an ecological perspective is not only a step toward developing their entrepreneurial ambitions but also contributes to the broader transition to a more sustainable economy in Europe. Therefore, this project is designed not only to educate but also to inspire and equip young people with the tools to become part of the green transformation.
