The project’s activites will be implemented with the objective of serving as a platform for young people facilitating: a) non formal education about contemporary issues under the theme of EU’s security on different levels and themes of the upcoming Cyprian and Irish presidencies; b) discussion with local, national and EU Decision makers and experts; c) theoretical and practical education about EU’s democratic institutions and ways youngsters can participate in democratic processes; d) a safe environment, where young people from ranging socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds can learn together and share their opinions; e) the development of the participants’ communication and English language skills and of other soft skills, such as leadership, organising or technical skills via experience and peer-to-peer knowledge sharing; f) an increased interest in EYP and EYP CZ, thus contributing to its sustainable development in terms of the number of engaged members and their skills
