The goal is to improve and train the international and intercultural competencies of the staff. The expansion of these competencies has a positive impact on working with people from different cultures and with a migration background. In addition to these competencies, another objective of the project is to enhance digital competence, so that not only the staff can apply digital technologies, but also that there is a transfer of knowledge and competence to the learners
Like society as a whole, the Kolping Akademie Ingolstadt is facing new challenges. Due to the current influx of refugees and digital change, intercultural skills and media skills are becoming one necessary quality when working in adult education. With the project, staff are trained in these skills and can therefore increase the quality of their own work and better support learners in adult education courses.
