The BiB wants to improve teachers’ capacity to set high-quality placements abroad and enhance their knowledge of the European socio-healthcare sector. For students, the aim is to empower their professional skills and update their abilities according to the internationalization and digitalisation of the professional sector. By applying, the BiB wants to empower its internationalization and forge new links abroad for further European projects.
Shortages in the healthcare sector and socio-technological challenges require updating teachers' vocational and students’ professional skills; therefore, the Berufskolleg im Bildungspark, VET school located in Essen, is going to implement the “B.I.B project: Build Innovation, Build new connections: training opportunities for teachers and students in health and social care” to continue the internationalization, updating staff members and on-the-job training strategies.
