We wanted to gain ideas and inspiration regarding our chosen themes and engage in dialogue with our European partners. We also intended to use the short-term project to identify suitable partners for the accreditation phase, enabling us to implement the ideas gathered on digitalization and democratic education at our school as quickly as possible.
The most important needs and challenges at the time of the application were the modernization, digitalization, and strengthening of a democratic school culture, as well as the restructuring of several school types into the new school type “Pre-Vocational Education and Training” (AV). To this end, GS Lahr has a Democracy Working Group, an AV Core Team, and an AI Development Group, all of which were expected to benefit from the results of the project.
