BlueGOV was designed to support people to make responsible, ocean-conscious decisions in both their professional and daily lives. It raises an important question: Who are these ‘people’ that affect and are affected by the ocean? The answer is everyone, but some more than others - in particular, those with decision-making power. With this in mind, BlueGOV aims to foster a new generation of ocean-conscious leaders and communities ensuring ocean literacy becomes more than a concept but a mindset.
