Objectives

The aim of this project is to raise awareness about discrimination among young people from disadvantaged groups and to promote the use of art as a tool to address social issues. During the project, 30 participants from six different countries will engage in workshops and creative activities designed to harness the power of art for social change. By focusing on the universal language of art, music, and creative collaboration, the project will address discrimination faced by various groups, including women, people with disabilities, and ethnic minorities. Through these activities, the project will empower young people to use their creativity to raise awareness and promote inclusivity. The project also provides an opportunity for cultural exchange, allowing participants to learn from one another, challenge discriminatory attitudes, and build lasting connections across cultural boundaries. In youth work practice, the project is designed to empower participants, foster social cohesion, and give them the tools they need to actively challenge discrimination and advocate for a more inclusive society. The objectives of the project are: - To develop empathy among participants by encouraging communication and collaboration with individuals from different cultural backgrounds. - To empower young people to take an active role in combating discrimination, using art as a tool for social change. - To foster social cohesion and awareness by inspiring creativity in both individual and collective work. - To raise awareness of discriminatory attitudes and behaviors towards various disadvantaged groups. - To promote cultural exchange, allowing participants from different backgrounds to learn from one another and build lasting collaborations. - To encourage participants to use art to express their views on discrimination and amplify their voices against it. - To help young people discover and develop their artistic talents, boosting self-awareness and confidence. - To highlight the inclusivity of the Erasmus+ program, contributing to a more inclusive society.
