The project aims to be a response to increased hate speech, radicalization, polarization, misinformation and conflicts. Also, the growing importance and usage of digital spaces caused the project's extreme focus on the role of digital spaces for peacebuilding practices. Project's idea is that peacebuilding must start on an individual level before spreading out through communities, digital spaces and global networks. There are two pillars of the project which are inner peace through mindfulness, emotional resilience and self-expression and outer peace fueled by constructive dialogue, digital literacy and civic engagement. We aim to empower young people to become peace ambassadors for themselves, their communities and globally. The objectives of the project are : - Empowering participants to challenge hate speech, discrimination, and negativity through effective and positive dialogue. - Fostering self-expression and mutual understanding through creative workshops, encouraging collaboration and personal growth. - Encompass mindfulness practices for mental well-being and emotional resilience for inner peace. - Build awareness regarding virtual platforms for social harmony and prepare participants for practical use and positive contribution in virtual communities. - Creating opportunities for intercultural exchange, enabling participants to share their cultural practices and traditions to promote unity in diversity. - Involvement of youth with fewer opportunities, providing them a voice and a fair chance for expression and contribution. - Encouragement of active citizenship through motivating youth to play an important role in peacebuilding and in creating national and international collaboration networks. - Radicalization and polarization avoidance amongst youth in the EU and beyond. - Eliminating negativity and fostering positivity through challenging stereotypes, developing empathy, and creating a deeper level of awareness regarding global issues. - Increasing digital skills and competences of young people to use more digital platforms or apps for peace building practices. By accomplishing the above mentioned objectives, participants will : -Develop self-awareness and emotional intelligence leading to analysis of it's importance -Become active and positive changemakers in digital environments, being able to identify and combat misinformation and hate speech -Improve their ability of engagement in constructive dialogues fostering the non-violent communication skills -Feel more empowered and inclusive that leads to higher confidence and motivation As a result we expect young people to actively take action to contribute to peacebuilding practices worldwide and make our world a better, more peaceful place.
